Daily Responsibilities

Common Areas

• Residents are assigned weekly cleaning duties for common areas on a rotating schedule
• Common area responsibilities include: sweeping/mopping floors, wiping down surfaces, emptying trash bins, and cleaning shared bathrooms
• The cleaning schedule is posted on the community bulletin board each Monday
• Report any maintenance issues in common areas to staff immediately

Personal Spaces

• Each resident is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in their personal living space
• Beds must be made and personal items organized daily
• Room inspections occur weekly (typically Wednesdays)
• Personal laundry must be done regularly and not allowed to accumulate
• Report any maintenance needs in your room using the maintenance request form

Meal Schedule

Our facility provides a balanced approach to meals:

• Breakfast: Self-serve continental style (6:00 AM - 8:30 AM)
• Lunch: Prepared by kitchen staff (12:00 PM - 1:30 PM)
• Dinner: Communal meal preparation on rotation (6:00 PM - 7:30 PM)

Kitchen Responsibilities

• Residents on meal duty must arrive 45 minutes before scheduled meal time
• Clean up your own dishes immediately after use
• Label and date any personal food items stored in community refrigerator
• Respect others' labeled food items
• Kitchen cleaning rotation is posted weekly

Laundry Room

• Hours of operation: 7:00 AM - 10:00 PM daily
• Remove laundry promptly when cycles complete
• Clean lint traps after each use
• Report any equipment issues to staff

Common Areas

• TV/Living Room: Available 6:00 AM - 11:00 PM, respect noise levels
• Computer Lab: Available 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM, 60-minute time limit when others are waiting
• Outdoor Areas: Available dawn to dusk, clean up after use
• Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM throughout all common areas

Community Activities

• Weekly Game Night: Thursdays 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
• Monthly Community Meeting: First Monday of each month at 6:30 PM (mandatory)
• Weekend Movie Night: Saturdays at 8:00 PM
• Group Fitness: Tuesdays and Fridays at 5:30 PM
• Community Garden: Volunteer schedule posted on bulletin board
